Message: 9 months ago I felt lost, with no friends, and no reason to do anything, then I stumbled upon Lotus Dance Studio. I came to the studio not knowing anything about Tribal Style, but fell in love with it once I meet all the teachers and I tried the different classes. It immediately became my home, my sanctuary. Becoming a Lotus student and dancer has changed my life in such a positive way. I've made wonderful friends, which have made me find the real person/woman/goddess in me. Being able to perform for the first time at Camelot Days was an amazing bonding experience. Thanks to Lotus and specially Alina for opening her arms to me and my daughter.

Message: Words cannot truly express what Tribal Belly Dance and Lotus Dance Studio mean to me. The classes are fun and physically challenging but are mostly fulfilling. The atmosphere at Lotus is warm and welcoming and feels like family to me. I'm not sure what I was looking for when belly dance found me (hehe) but it has given me back my sense of self and tremendous self worth. To say I am hooked would be an understatement...I simply could not live without it.

Message: Being a student at Lotus has benefited me in more ways than I ever would have imagined. I took my first class in late April of 2007 and have been a regular student ever since. Having this healthy outlet to look forward, a place to go to where all of the life stresses disappear has had a remarkable impact on my mental and spiritual wellbeing and physically, I am stronger and have more energy to accomplish all the things a busy mom must do. Family responsibilities have forced me to cut back to 3 classes a week for now. Currently I take Tiffany Bisconer's Technique class on Tuesdays at 8:45, World Tribal Choreography with Alina on Wednesdays at 8:30 and on Saturday mornings at 10:15 I take Kali's belly yoga class, a great way to start my weekend. I have also taken tribal fusion with Alicia which is a really fun class, but my schedule doesn't permit dancing on Thursdays. If only my weeks were longer..... Words really can't express the all that I've gained from being a student at Lotus dance studio but I could not imagine life without it. Thank you Alina for making it all possible.

Alicia has also been such a wonderful inspiration as a teacher to my dance career. As a person, she has such a warm uplifting way about her. I am so grateful to have her as a teacher.
